Orthopedics and Traumatology

The orthopedic and trauma unit, under the direction of Dr G. Grattarola, is a state-of-the-art facility in its level of specialization and the innovative techniques used in diagnosing fractures, sprains and dislocations.

The unit staff comprises eight doctors and nurses, who are skilled in applying the main treatments used, such as plastering, dislocation/sprain treatment, joint aspiration and infiltration.

The unit also offers an accident and emergency service, open every day of the year including Saturday and Sunday, and operating 24 hours a day for urgent cases.
